The Acute Leukemia Advocates Network (ALAN) was set up by a dedicated group of global patient advocacy representatives. Individually, our esteemed steering committee have successfully led leukemia advocacy groups and with global reach. Together, they are ideally equipped to lead a new, and much needed, network of Acute Leukemia advocacy groups in order to deliver tailored services to patients and carers around the world. Hailing from the UK, Germany, France and Korea, our leaders understand that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to the development of support services in leukemia, but that each region has its own specific needs and requirements.
