Acute Leukemia Global Summit: Registrations are open !

We are looking forward to our first Acute Leukemia Global Summit on the 26th to 28th September 2020. The venue will be the Leonardo Royal Frankfurt, Mailänderstr. 1, 60598 Frankfurt, Germany.

ALAN has worked to ensure that the global summit includes topics of importance to the acute leukemia patient community and provides a unique opportunity for participants to share experiences and best practices. We hope that as a result of this meeting patient groups globally will improve their capacity to meet the needs of their constituents and optimize their advocacy activities. 

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Invitees are required to register by 30th May 2020. Please contact Samantha samantha@acuteleuk.org if you wish to register.  

There is a limit of a maximum of 1 participant from each organization.

COSTS

ALAN will cover all costs including travel costs and attendance at the global summit, with some conditions. To know more, please contact Samantha samantha@acuteleuk.org

VISA / TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Please make sure that you have valid travel documents for at least 6 months from the day of travel.

Before travelling to Germany, please check whether you need a visa.

USEFUL TIPS FOR OBTAINING A VISA TO GERMANY

Germany is a member of the European Union. A Schengen-visa is required to enter the country.

Do not wait for the last minute and start applying for your visa NOW (all in all, obtaining a visa for Germany can take up to 90 days).

On the official website of the http://www.germany-visa.org/  you will find all relevant information on the requirement of a visa. The website answers important questions such as:

–        Do I need a visa to enter Germany

–        How to apply for a visa?

–        Where do I find visa application forms and where do I apply?

Please remember that most of your questions can be answered at the German Embassy in your country or another Embassy that represents Germany. Please ensure you read all the information in relation to visa. 

MEETING SCHEDULE

The Acute Leukemia Global Summit starts on Friday, September 26th 2020 at 1pm with the official opening from our chair, Zack Pemberton-Whiteley and ends on Sunday, September 28th 2020 at 12:00pm. The program features renowned acute leukemia experts as well as other medical specialists and advocacy leaders from around the world.
